Kiku frowned, going to the corner to hide. "G-Gomenosai Gilbert-san, that was completely wrong and Gomenosai. I knew that was a sensitive subject, and I shouldn't have crossed that line. Please forgive me. My back has been acting up, and I guess that's made me a bit cranky. Of course that's not a reasonable excuse..."

"Finally. I made it! It was a long way up but I did well and I didn't spill any on my tea." He said in his british accent. He then heard another strange sound coming from the elevator. "Flying Mint Bunny? Is that you again?" He recived no answer. He quickly set his tea on the confernce room table and rushed towards the elevator. "Hello! Is anyone is there?" He said banging on the elevator door.

Gilbert relaxed slightly. "It's fine," he said evenly. "Seriously, don't stress about it, I'm starting to feel guilty, and the awesome me never feels guilty." He jumped when he heard someone bang on the door.
Ha! Salvation had arrived. See, now it didn't even matter that everything had been his fault. "Yes," said Gilbert, "there's people in here! It's me, Kiku, and Roddy! You have to help us out!" Okay, so Gilbert didn't like asking for help, but he didn't like being stuck in an elevator with two people who seemed to secretly hate him, either. He briefly wondered why he had used the nickname for Roderich, but didn't correct himself because he knew Roderich despised it.

Kiku hissed, sliding against the wall of the elevator, the pain in his back immense. "We're in here, whoever that is..."

"It sounds like Arthur." Roderich pointed out judging by the accent. "By the way, Gilbert, my name is Roderich. Not Roddy or any other nickname you decide to come up with." he growled annoyed.

Gilbert smirked at Roderich. "C'mon. Don't be like that," he said, taking immense joy out of his discomfort. "Or else I'll come up with something worse to call you," he added. When they were out of the elevator, he would make a list. He would probably emphasize the 'ick' sound in Roderich. Either that, or call him 'baby'. That was sure to piss him off. Gilbert would have to give it more thought later.
He did have a point, though. The voice did sound British. Of course, Gilbert didn't care who it was, as long as they could get them out.

"Hehe... so it's Gilbert, Roderich and Kiku. Maybe I should leave them in there, for revenge. But then again... Kiku is my pal and this is a meeting to solve problems." He stood there for a while thinking. He finally made up his mind and decided to help them. "I here you! I'll get you three out!" He said loud enough so they could hear him. "Crap... how am I going to get them out of there?"

"Can you get us out?" Kiku called from his place on the floor. "Please? Before a cable snaps or something."

The elevator made another unnatural, frightening, noise and moved the tiniest bit. "He better hurry up..." Roderich muttered. "Or this thing is going to fall before you know it." he added. He then thought to himself, if the elevator did go crashing to the ground would they die? Or just get mortally wounded because they we're countries?

"Hey, isn't there an emergency exit on the ceiling just in case something like this happens? While I try to open the door, get out of there and climb up the cable until you see some light above."

Kiku looked up at the ceiling of the elevator nervously. "Would the elevator crush us? Or simply fall to the bottom?"

Gilbert shrugged. "I don't know about you guys, but I think I'm already dead. Not sure about that," he said, frowning. "Either way, something to try, right?" He glanced up at the ceiling. Maybe he would die. Maybe he would got to country-hell with Austria and Japan. No, they'd probably go to country-heaven.
What the hell is this? He shook thought of metaphysics out of his mind; now wasn't the time.

"I don't see an exit but I guess it's there." Roderich said his eyes still not adjusted to the darkness of the elevator. "Usually in these type of situations the strongest lifts the tallest to open the exit, the the tallest pulls the shortest up and the strongest simply climbs out after them." he said remembering a book he once read about emergencies.

Gilbert frowned at this. Of course he was awesome; he had a great sense of humor and a near-telepathic bond with his bird, but he wasn't sure how strong he was. "Well, that sounds fine to me. Who's the, er...tallest?" Maybe he was the strongest. He hoped so. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he was the weakest one out of them.

Arthur examined the door and looked around for a claw like tool to get the three out. He ran back to the elevator. "Alright guys, hold on, I'm opening the door." He took the tool and put the two sharp ends of the tool in middle and pulled until one side opened up." He squatted and looked down the shaft. "Hurry up before it breaks!"
